Bob Howard has coached Basketball for 37 years, all but one in Montana. His career has uniquely included stints at AA, A, B and C Montana schools. He has served as head Basketball coach for 32 years and has also assisted 10 seasons in Track & Field and 16 years on the gridiron. Bob’s Basketball teams have notched 323 BBB wins and 183 GBB wins for an incredible total of 506 victories. Along the way his teams have captured 8 Conference titles, 5

District crowns, 2 State Championships, one 2nd place finish and two 3rds

A 32-year MCA member and current MCA Class AA Director, Coach Howard, has been an MCA COY nominee 4 times and a one-time recipient and was a 2018 NHSACA Finalist for National COY. Bob has Coached the Electric City Classic, the Central Montana All-State Classic and the Radisson Classic. For 15 years he has worked both Divisional and State Track meets and served 15 years as the MHSA AA Basketball Committee Chairman.
